Matthew is 15 months old!

Today Matty is 15 months old! He had a great checkup with the pediatrician today. He is 26 pounds, 2 ounces and 34 inches tall. He grew 2 inches in the 3 months since his 12 month check up!

He is such a busy little boy! He climbs on everything. I find him on top of the kitchen table, the toilet, our bed. He is usually able to get down carefully but he still makes me nervous!

He loves to be outside, running, climbing on the little slides we have, and playing in the sandbox. He has learned to say "no" and usually repeats me when I'm telling him not to do something. He also says "thank you" correctly although it sounds like "tay too". He also has learned to give sweet little kisses!

Here he is on the couch, extremely tired after getting 2 vaccinations today, and skipping his nap time.

Ouchie boo bouchie!!!

This week was fun, we turned a boring Tuesday at home into an adventurous trip to a new urgent care clinic!!

This story involves a vacuum cleaner, but please don't get confused and think that I was using it for cleaning! No, the vacuum was our tent pole, as Nathan and I had made a sheet tent to play in. But then Nathan wanted to move the vacuum and tried to push it out of his way. He was pushing at the wheels and accidentally pushed the handle release. The handle came down and moves right over the wheels, and his poor left index finger was smushed!

He screamed for a long time and made up many new words that rhyme with ouchie! His finger is banged up but he's doing ok!
