Nate update

Nathan has been insisting on wearing his "real" pajamas lately. I guess these are real because they are long pants and sleeves? He also has to have on socks!

New haircut!

9 month checkup!

Matty is happy and healthy! He's 24 pounds 5 ounces, and 30 inches tall! That's about 98th percentile for weight and height. He enjoyed chewing on the tongue depressor stick. He had to get a finger prick to check for anemia, but he hardly cried. Nathan was more upset and kept begging me to not let them prick Matty!

Matthew is 9 months old!

Today Matty is 9 months old. I really hope this video works, he's practicing his walking skills while pushing a wagon. He's full of smiles and he's doing some tongue clicking! His check up is on Thursday, I'm guessing he'll weigh in about 24 pounds.

He's learned to drink from a straw and enjoys it. Still not interested in much solid food. I forgot how messy babies are when eating! It almost requires a bath every time.

Trail running!

Took the kids to the trail at Town Lake, they requested a trip to feed the ducks, turtles and geese. Emma walked and ran with me most of the way. Towards the end Nate wanted to run so they switched places in the stroller.

This poor old lion is rather sad looking, but here at least it has plenty to eat, drink and shade and toys to play with.

The tigers are so beautiful, this female really wanted a belly rub!

Austin Zoo visit-Bears!

The Austin Zoo has 3 baby bears! They were rescued earlier this year. They are very playful and active, we saw them climb up to the top of the enclosure.
