Matty is 2 years old!

Happy birthday to Matty! Today he is 2 years old! Despite coming down with a stomach virus today, he's been happy and playful! We had sang and had cake tonight after dinner.

Matty is really doing well in his preschool class. He is learning so many words and talking in 2-4 word phrases. He says "l fall down," and "I got it" frequently. He loves anything Star Wars related, playing outside, balloons, running, and puppies.

Matty's first haircut!

Yesterday I took Matty for his first haircut. He did great! He watched a Lego batman movie and sat in a yellow taxi cab chair.

Beautiful Sunday

Today the kids and I walked to our park. They climbed trees, threw rocks in the pond, hunted for frogs, and had a good time!

Nathan is 5 years old!

Today Nathan is 5 years old!! We love him so much! He is in pre-k this year and really doing well. He's learning to write and he's taking an art class that he's enjoying too. He is very into Super Mario brothers, hexbugs, and building with Lego.

Matty is 22 months old!

On Saturday Matty turned 22 months old! He loves to hide under covers and in this pile of stuffed animals! He's doing great in preschool and having lots of fun! He's saying more words now, like blue, French fries, yogurt, fish, socks, brush, hide, and medicine. He also says Nathan's name now, it's very cute! He is getting his canines and has been fussy at times, but overall he's a happy and busy almost 2 year old! He thinks toots are hilarious and he laughs out loud when he toots!

Matty gets out a little early this week. He cried at pickup because he was happy to see me! I forgot to the picture of him with the class door this morning so I got it at pickup.

We recently determined that Emma needs glasses for reading and school work. She was very excited to pick them out and after a week they arrived! They are purple of course, that's the only color she wanted.
